Deal Or No Deal Island 2 Ep 1.

The second season of Deal or no Deal Island has appeared out of nowhere like an RKO from Randy Orton. Season two brings with it, a new cast, new twists, a new banker but brings back the great deal or no deal format we love. Here at Watchers Delight we will go through the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of episode 1. This blog will include spoilers of the first episode and will not go chronologically with the show.

The Good

My winner for the good award week one goes to La Shell. Lets start with the first correct decision made by La Shell, go the safe route in the pyramid scheme challenge. I felt this is the best route because, even if that was the team to lose the odds of staying are better than, for example, the red crew with only three people. La Shell also gets the good award with her aunty vibes. Maybe I'm still caught up in aunty Julie from this season of Big Brother. The last reason I gave Las Shell the good award is from the edit. I Know, I'm sorry. We are not supposed to watch the edit to find out who wins, but La Shell really wasn't a big part of the strategy of this episode and we still got good strategic confessionals throughout the episode. I think La Shell is a top 3 player this season coming out of episode 1.

THE BAD

I really hate to put the Black Widow here but the bad award has to go to Parvati.

Already coming into the game a Survivor legend, Parvati knew she would have to come up with a way to use that information as a positive. She cleverly used it as a way to build trust with others and use it as a secret with everyone. I am interested how fast information moves around this group to see if her plan is effective or backfires. The true reason for the bad award comes when Parvati makes a close connection with Dickson and David, forming the oddest reality family yet. Maybe the banker has a soft spot for children? All jokes aside, this public form of calling each other mom dad and son is not only weird but obvious to all the other players around. We see in next episodes sneak peak, the group is not fond with this and the three could be early targets because of this. It just makes you ask, what are these two legends doing making this big of mistakes.

Honorable mention to David for being a bonehead, not taking the deal during the pyramid scheme challenge, and for this family nonsense. What are our legends doing?

THE UGLY

Now, the obvious choice for the ugly award is Luke, but he's gone and this part of the article would just say that he never made a correct decision his entire time in the game. So we wont do that and instead give the award to.....Sydnee. Sydney is just competing for the worst player with power in episode 1 of any show. Every box for bad use of week 1 power was checked. First, she is obviously crushing on Dave, who is married in real life and is in a weird reality family. And our good award winner La Shell has picked up on this. Saying in her confessional that Sydney is no use to her if her mind is distracted by Dave or any other guys. Then, she lets her power kind of get to her head a bit, the day of everyone saying yes to her definitely got to her head during the Deal or No Deal game. Just talking too much, trying to be the main voice in the room. And her logic was wrong. I wonder if this was intentional to mess with Luke and keep Dave safe best she could. Either way its bad for her as Alexis, who I assumed would be a close ally with Sydnee, has a confessional about how annoying Sydnee was during this and how loose she can be.
